How far along: 32 weeks
Baby Size: a jicama apparently - she should weigh about 3-3.5lbs or so at this point Maternity clothes: umm yeah - have you seen me lately?! ha-ha I can get away with non-maternity shirts most of the time but it's all maternity for work pants and jeans. It's not that my belly is huge (I mean it is...but you know what I mean) but the rest of my body is....I have most definitely gained ALL over this pregnancy and boy can I tell ha-ha Stretch marks: Nope - nor has my linea nigra line. I can't remember when that showed up with Camden but I'm surprised it hasn't already. Sleep: not great that's for sure - I can usually get a good 4 hour stretch and then after that I'm constantly tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. I'm having the same hip issue I had with Camden. It's hard to explain but it's sort of like my hips fall asleep - it's not the most pleasant feeling and it really makes sleeping difficult. Gender: A lil' girl Movement: Most definitely!! She moves around the most at night (I hope this doesn't mean she's going to be my night owl ha-ha) Looking forward to: working on her nursery and having this sweet girl out of my stomach ...and in my arms instead :) Food cravings: I don't have much of an appetite these days. Lately I've been craving drinks - like chocolate almond milk, apple cider, and orange juice. Anything making you queasy or sick: nope Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks contractions sometimes What I miss: working out, being in regular clothes, feeling like myself, etc. Symptoms: I'm pretty much in pain from top to bottom these days. My back is killing me 24/7. My hips just feel stretched and uncomfortable. And I've started getting shooting pains that start in my groin area and go down my leg. I also just feel so swollen these days - my whole body just feels so heavy. Nursery: still have lots of work to do here Belly Button in or out? In Wedding rings on or off? On Workouts: I try to walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill at home 3-4 times a week and I try to get to the gym on Saturdays and Sundays. As I said before, working out just doesn't feel good but I know it's important to keep my body moving (especially since I have a desk job and I sit A LOT during the day.) Things that suck: not being able to work out how I like to, WORK, and the general achiness/heaviness of my belly - I just feel so stretched and I'm SO much bigger this time ALL around! It really takes its toll on my body. Oh, and the fact that we don't have daycare. Long story short - it was all set...but we got screwed...and now we're scrambling. It's very stressful and we're honestly not sure what we're going to do. This is NOT how it was supposed to go. I've been very angry and depressed about the whole situation - a lot of 'why us?' and 'what the hell are we going to do?' But we're *trying* to stay positive and work our way through this. Things that don't suck: Knowing that I'll soon have a newborn in my arms - I legit CANNOT wait.
